Ahhhh, Thai food. Sweet and spicy all rolled into one! Thai Dheva offers some of the tastiest Thai in the Five Cities at fair prices.

Their understated store front on the corner of Grand and 5th in Grover Beach offers no indication of their friendly service and fresh, wonderful flavors that await you inside.

I haven't tried anything here that I have not liked. Most recently we ordered a grand feast of:

Appetizer Combination: overall this was your typical Americanized mess of deep-fried madness. The highlights were the egg rolls (stuffed with a wonderful mixture of veggies and seasonings) and the chicken satay (so tender and delicious! What exactly is in that marinade???). The peanut dipping sauce was a bit on the thick side, but tasty in moderation.

Pad Kee Mow (flat noodles with basil, chili, onion and chicken): My boyfriend wanted something spicy, and man, we got it. The brightness of the fresh basil helped to soothe the firey flavor. We were so excited to eat, that we dug in before we took a photo! Even the 'leftovers' look good.

Pineapple Rice: I have had my share of overly sweet pineapple rice at other Thai restaurants, but Thai Dheva gets the perfect combination of sweet and earthy. The shrimp were a little on the tough side, but the amazing flavor of this dish made up for it. Once again, we wolfed this down before we remembered to photograph!
